EUROPEAN ASTROBIOLOGY NETWORK ASSOCIATION (EANA)
Since, there are several centres of excellence in astrobiology or related fields of research in Europe, there was and is a need that they are co-ordinated to share there expertise and research facilities. This was the main drive for European scientists to organize and create a European Astrobiology Network Association (EANA) for the scientific benefit and the public in general.

This is the first announcement for the 10th European Workshop on Astrobiology.
The workshop takes place on the 6th to the 8th of September, 2010, in Pushchino, Russia.
The themes of the workshop are as follow

- Origin of biosphere and evolution of geo-biological systems
- Life in extreme environments with emphasis on frozen, hot and salt worlds:
- Experiments in space and in simulated space environments and terrestrial models of extraterrestrial habitats and inhabitants
- Space missions searching for water and life
- Astrophysics and astrochemistry
- Planetary Protection
The deadline for abstracts submission: June 4, 2010 .
The deadline for receiving visas & travel grant applications: June 4, 2010.
